Tulsa World - Groundbreaking held for new senior living center

Legend Senior Living at Mingo Road recently held a groundbreaking ceremony at 7902 S. Mingo Road.

Legend at Mingo Road will provide daily assistance to older adults who no longer wish to live alone but don't require the advanced level of skilled medical care provided by a nursing home. The care model emphasizes a homelike design and programming developed to help older adults maintain a rich quality of life.

Reflections Memory Care Residence at Legend combines private suites with state-of-the-art life enrichment programs, therapy and trained staff to meet the needs of individuals with memory impairments such as Alzheimer's disease and other kinds of dementia.

WDM Architects, Wichita, Kan., designed the residence. The Law Co. Inc. is the general contractor. Construction will be completed August 2012.
