Legend Senior Living is a privately held Seniors Housing and Services company. Legend Senior Living was founded in 2001 by industry pioneer Tim Buchanan. Legend Senior Living owns and operates 20 residences representing over 1,000 units of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Nursing Residences in Kansas, Oklahoma and Florida.
Legend strives to offer customers a wide variety of options and choices in their quest for quality housing and services. We offer a variety of product types as well as specialized personal services. Our Tailored Services systems offer customers the tremendous flexibility of service and the ability to manage the costs of their housing and personal services.

For over 25 years, Mr. Buchanan has been creating award winning residential living environments for individuals and families. He has been a pioneer and leader in the Senior Housing and Care industry in the United State for the last 18 years. Mr. Buchanan co-founded Sterling House Corporation in Wichita, Kansas in 1990, pioneering assisted living in the United State by designing, developing, and operating hundreds of new senior residences in 35 states across the nation prior to leaving the company in 1999.
