Chosen from more than 80 gardens across 15 states, the Memory Care residents’ indoor garden of The Windsor of Gainesville Assisted Living and Memory Care residence has earned Eldergrow’s Happiest and Healthiest Garden Award! The award party will take place at 10:30 a.m. at The Windsor of Gainesville on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Eldergrow, an award-winning startup from Seattle, offers therapeutic gardening enrichment programs for seniors in residential and nursing care communities.

“We are thrilled that our residents’ efforts in the garden are being acknowledged. We have been very pleased with the many benefits our residents have experienced since partnering with Eldergrow,” said Wayne Vinson, The Windsor of Gainesville’s Resident Services Director. “Ann Partin, our Life Enrichment Assistant, was instrumental influence in this wonderful achievement.” Shera Walker, Eldergrow’s Educator at The Windsor community, shared the same sentiment. “I love teaching Eldergrow classes there because the residents are cheerful and ready to get involved in the fun projects we plan,” she said. “And the same can be said for the staff!”
